Life changes can leave you feeling disconnected—from your partner, your identity, or your sense of direction. Therapy can be a grounding space to explore those shifts, especially when the path ahead feels uncertain.

Whether it’s a shift in roles, relationships, or routines, the changes we experience can deeply affect our sense of stability and connection. I truly believe that our connection in therapy can provide a warm and supportive environment where we can explore ways to tackle negative thoughts and uncertainties together. I absolutely love working with couples, new moms, and college students to help them navigate life's challenges and foster strong, positive relationships.

I love using a variety of techniques like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and the Gottman Method to support you in enhancing your emotional well-being and relationships. I am dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming space for you, and I enjoy customizing our therapy sessions to best fit your unique needs.

Therapy may feel a bit daunting at first, but I'm here to offer support and guidance every step of the way. So why don't we kick off our shoes, get comfy, and start this journey together?

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

Ruth Ann Green Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern

In life’s toughest moments, you need someone to walk through the darkness with you, someone who will listen with compassion and withhold judgment. No one was meant to face difficulty alone. My office is a place where we can work together to tackle the unwanted or overwhelming thoughts, behaviors, and emotions in your life without fear of judgment.

I work with parents, children, adolescents, and young adults. I enjoy getting to work with people of many different backgrounds. I have experience helping clients through depression, anxiety, self-harm, trauma, relational difficulties, parent-child conflict, divorce, and ADHD. I have specialized training in ADHD care for both adults and children, covering topics like effective and noneffective treatment approaches, ADHD in the home, navigating the demands of school with ADHD, navigating young adulthood and work with ADHD, time management skills, and how ADHD affects romantic relationships. I offer the opportunity to integrate one’s Christian faith into counseling to those who are interested.

Often, when people hesitate to start counseling, they believe that their trials are not worth the care or fear that their problems are too far gone for help. I assure you that you are worth the care and that there is hope. I’m happy to schedule a free 15 minute consultation call or answer any questions over email.

Eleanor Theurer Registered Marriage and Family Therapy Intern, Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern, Accredited Financial Counselor

Every family has a story—and sometimes, it’s the untold parts that weigh the heaviest. If you’re feeling the impact of shifting roles, strained relationships, or financial stress, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

I work with families, often across many generations. Our family relationships have a big impact on our well-being, whether we are in touch with our family members or not. Sometimes relationships are affected by life’s transitions due to employment changes, loss, parenting, or the beginning and ending of relationships.

Are you feeling stuck in a family dynamic that’s hard to name—but even harder to ignore? Are life transitions, relationship shifts, or financial stress making it difficult to find your footing? I help individuals and families untangle the stories that shape them and move toward clarity, healing, and practical change. No matter what you're struggling with, I will be by your side as you define and pursue the changes you desire.

Since I am also trained as an Accredited Financial Counselor, I welcome conversations about your financial concerns. Your relationship with money may be a stressor that is impacting your life. I create a safe, nonjudgmental space to talk about it. I have specialized training in narrative, solutions-focused, and cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques.

The first step is for me to get to know you—since you are the expert on your life’s story. I am ready to hear your story. My hope is that you expand your perspective and leave my office with a practical strategy to carry with you.

We all have this desire to become the best versions of ourselves, right? But let's face it, it can be pretty tough to figure out what that even looks like, especially when life throws so much at us. If you're feeling a bit overwhelmed and struggling to find joy in your life, therapy could be just the thing to give you that extra bit of support and guidance.

In therapy, we'll work together to figure out what's been holding you back and learn some skills to help you step into that best version of yourself. I specialize in helping adolescents, college students, and adults who are dealing with things like anxiety, depression, trauma, and figuring out who they are. My goal is to build a safe and nurturing therapeutic relationship with you, based on trust, support, and openness. Together, we'll come up with ways to tackle whatever it is that's troubling you.

I really want you to feel comfortable and accepted in our sessions, no matter if you're new to therapy or have been through it before. It would truly be an honor for me to support and guide you on your journey toward healing. I'm excited to meet you and learn more about your authentic self. Let's do this together!
